OPEN READING PERIOD: September 1 –30, 2024
Meekling Press will be reading for our 2025-26 season of books during the month of September. We are interested in book-length manuscripts that play with the relationship between text and image, between text and text, between image and image. That being said, we also welcome manuscripts that can be clearly defined as poetry/ prose/ hybrid work. If you’re unfamiliar with Meekling Press, please look at our website to get a sense of our past books and projects.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 30, 2024 11:59PM CST
FORMAT: There is no set minimum or maximum manuscript length, but books, as a general guideline should be at least fifty pages paginated.
AUTHOR COMPENSATION:. We are not able to offer monetary compensation, but we do provide 25 free copies of the book to the author.
SIMULTANEOUS submissions are acceptable.
