Mirrors for Princes is a collection of short works, unrelated except by their loosely didactic intention and tone. The works make use of the second-person and the imperative, disorienting the reader from a place of mercurial and delusory authority even as their form disintegrates. They are proscriptive dream logic, grumpily chaotic, and a thoughtful gift for any young tyrant.
